Hair Candy For The Nappy and The Silky
It is Christmas Eve(the night before my bday...yes I must plug myself lol) and since I have been back on my natural hair journey I have been doing really cool things with my hair and spending a lot of time with it! You know that bonding period :).So in these beginning stages I have two blog sites that are simply the best, CurlyNikki.com and bglhonline.com,these sites are absolutely remarkable!
Down to the hair candy! So I am rocking a TWA(teeny weeny afro) at the moment and cute hair candy makes for a cute, sassy, dainty, and sophisticated hairstyle.
While I was browsing Curly Nikki's site I stumbled across, what I consider, the most magnificent and intricate piece of hair candy! TADAAA! I fell in love!
I snooped around a little more and found a great site for hair candy...some of you ladies may feel that the prices of these hair accessories are a bit much but it wouldn't hurt to treat your hair to a few tasty sweets every once in a while!
So head on over to Andreasbeau.com and shop...or window shop, for nice treats to spice or refresh your staple hair style!
Peace, Love, and Hair Candy!
Have a Merry Christmas and be safe!

Beautiful Bosom You Are!
Beautiful Bosom Art of the Day!
I feel like this piece of art is a depiction of all of the Hottentot Venus...or some may know it as the Venus Hottentot. However her messy hair and protruding facial features are sending off another message. What's your interpretation of this photo...I personally feel it as a work of ART...She is a Beautiful Bosom.

Back on My Natural Sh*T
" Back in the days when I was young, I'm not a kid anymore"...haaaa don't you remember those days? Me too! I remember getting a textlax at the age of three because " I was so tender head", this was true, I really was tender at the head growing up and aint shit changed but my age lol.
Who am I fooling? I love my nappy head! I have been back and forth so many times between my natural hairstyles, relaxer, and weaves (which I just took out). I cant deny my roots literally lol. So something always sparks my natural tendencies...night before last I said to myself "yo just do it to the fullest if you are going to do it"...so I took my weave out and cut the rest of the texturized ends off...I felt so relieved!
" Yah girl is back!" that's what I felt like...
All of the techniques that I have viewed on Youtube and hair care forums are now going to be implemented in my hair care regimen!
A friend of mine is natural and she gave me the whole rundown on how she keeps her hair in good condition...her notes are posted below word for word and there are even sites that she suggested. I appreciate her for that!
What can I say? I'm Me!

Natural hair care-Mine's Methods
Pre-Poo Mix
-Coconuot oil
-Grapeseed Oil
-Olive Oil
-Shea Butter
-Palm Oil
Mix all together, dampen hair and leave overnight or all day the DAY BEFORE you shampoo
Shampoo
Use products that SULPHATE FREE…it strips your hair
Organix is a good line, and Aveda has sulphate free products
After I shampoo I put Cholesteral on my hair and use the denman through it.
I rinse and the denman my hair again and two strand twist sections or style any other way.
I moisturize with coconut oil. Sometimes I mix it with shea butter and palm oil. Then I run it in my hair and finger style and go.
Two to three times a week I put castor oil on my edges.
I take a regular multi-vitamin and try to drink lots of water
On days when I feel my hair is dry I put just coconut oil on my hair before I go to bed. I also put the Afro detangler every other day, especially at the roots and tips.
